Each story is self contained, I call it a trilogy but the stories doesn't really happen in the same universe or set of characters, unless you want to view it like that, it's totally up to you :)
The first of the trilogy that I made was Someone Else's Life:
It's a love story about a couple who have their ups and downs in their relationship and what would happen if they finally work it out?
The second is The Black Rose,
it's the story of a couple who always fight
about not having enough time for each other.
Will they make up? Or will they break up?
And the third and final story in the Black Book Trilogy is
The Scars On His Wrists.
It's the story of a guy who confesses his love for a girl who already has a boyfriend. What will happen? And what gave him the courage to confess now?
All in all these are The Black Book Trilogy. I created Someone Else's Life back in 2001, The Black Rose the year after that in 2002 and The Scars On His Wrists in 2006. And I'm currently re-releasing them this coming April at Summer Komikon on April 1st! (No, this ain't no April fool's joke. That's really the date hehe)
As usual, we'll be at our Kuro Saku booth, so if you're here in the Philippines on April first, you can drop by Unilab at the Bayanihan center in Pasig City.
I'm excited to re-release these books now not just because it has better quality now but also for new readers who hasn't read these stories yet! But not just them, even if you've read these stories before, I've included in the book some reviews, fan art and additional insights on mine in creating each title, not to mention you'll be able to read and re-read and share the stories to your friends, after all, deep inside, we all like reading love stories. :)
I've also made alternate / special covers for all of the three books! And you'll only know what special means when you have the book in you hands, I won't spoil the surprise, but suffice it to say it enhances your experience reading the books. So see you at Summer Komikon to get your Black Book Trilogy copies from us!
